Hey! How have you been? I’ll make this quick see, cuz you’ve been so busy, That you haven’t had any chance to talk with me. You even forgot to return my calls, Or maybe you just haven’t heard them all. I wrote you a few times; it was just a few lines; I’m sure that you meant to respond in due time. I know in my heart you would never ignore me, It’s just like you said to me, let’s take...
Why Startups Should Support Grassroots Movements
There’s only 21 people following us here on Google+. You know why that is awesome? Because it means that I can say whatever the f*** I want on the “corporate” page without censoring myself (pause for irony). With that in mind, here’s one of the many things I spent my Christmas thinking about. Most of our client leads thus far have been for mobile app projects that I...

Anonymous asked: Your post on the 601 was amazing. I referred to it in my feedback (phase 4 is on Dec. 12 - almost there) and told them to call me if they take the feedback seriously. The program is terrible and I feel cheated that I actually had to PAY to take it. I'll keep you posted if anything actually comes of it!

For My Mom, Mira Gokhale
I’ve copy/pasted this from something I found on the Internet, and re-phrased it, but it still holds value to me:
My mom carried me in her stomach for nine months. She felt sick for months with nausea, then she watched her feet swell & her skin stretch & tear; she struggled to climb stairs, she got breathless quick; she suffered many sleepless nights. She then went through ...

The announcement that Nexus One users won’t be getting upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich led some to justifiably question Google’s support of their devices. I look at it a little differently: Nexus One owners are lucky. I’ve been researching the history of OS updates on Android phones…

When Your Heart Says Jump
When I was seven years old, my parents put me in swimming lessons at the nearest community recreation center. I spent the next four years learning all of the fundamentals of swimming - breathing techniques, stroke types, muscle relaxation functions and more. In the last session of my fourth year, our swimming instructor took us to the deep end of the pool and told us that we could jump off ...
Issues
I have trust and commitment issues. They permeate through my life with no discrimination or hesitation. I want to be better but the ghosts of my past haunt my best attempts. I hurt others in deceitful, malicious ways. I don’t want to be this person any more.

I am the CEO of Svpply, Inc., a social shopping S-Corp operating out of New York City. My company has been the recipient of over half-a-million in investor dollars, for the stated purpose of building an unknown, 3,000-member web service into a cultural phenomenon, and I truly have very little…

Feeling mixed emotions, and not feeling inclined to judge anyone else’s emotions. Not even the “dude, we totally killed him, SPRING BREAK!!!” kids I see on tv, even if I feel uncomfortable watching them. I cannot presume to know what’s inspiring it, or how each of them feels connected with the…

Dear Sir or Madam: Thank you for expressing your concerns regarding usage-based billing (UBB) for Internet services. It is essential that I hear the views of Canadians on the issues that matter. Prime Minister Harper and I have been clear that we cannot support imposing a UBB business model on wholesale Internet service providers. Our government recognizes that the Internet and digital...

An Indian-born economist once explained his personal theory of reincarnation to his graduate economics class. “If you are a good economist, a virtuous economist,” he said, “you are reborn as a physicist. But if you are an evil, wicked economist, you are reborn as a sociologist.”
—Paul Krugman, 1994
